Individual states, counties, and faculty districts have considerable leeway in how they choose to divide their school ranges. A few American faculties still include all grades seven via twelve, but normally grades nine via twelve represent high school, with center school offering grades six, seven, and eight. Students in American high faculties are identified in accordance with their grade as “Freshmen” , “Sophomores” , “Juniors” , and “Seniors” .
