Scholars currently agree that one of many features of effective PD is being coherent with and responsive to teachers’ perceived wants (Bautista and Ortega-Ruíz 2015). Hence, before designing and implementing PD, it is important to know what teachers themselves want to be taught. Because no printed research has analyzed the PD wants of Singapore kindergarten academics, the current research goals to fill this hole in the literature. In the subsequent part, we frame the third matter investigated on this study, specifically teachers’ beliefs on education, which constitutes another key dimension of orientational high quality (Wall et al. 2015). More exactly, our goal was to explore the extent to which lecturers with completely different beliefs about children and how they learn differed of their priorities and PD wants with regard to NEL’s learning areas.
